Martina moved to Portland in 2000 from Halmstad, Sweden. She holds a degree in early childhood development from Sweden and will soon receive a diploma from AMI.

In 2021, she did her orientation training with Montessori Northwest and that same year she got employed by Ivy Montessori school where she was at until now when she joined Childpeace.

Martina is really excited to be in the Children’s House joining a community of wonderful children and experienced and passionate educators.

Doing aerial silks, drinking tea, yoga and reading a good book are some of her top favorite things to do. She loves a great philosophical conversation and a long beautiful hike in nature as well as diving into creating an amazing dinner and playing some games.
