Childpeace is lucky to have an enthusiastic, robust community of supporters made up of parents, staff, students, alumni and friends who play a key role in the continued success of our school.
Childpeace relies on a combination of tuition revenue and the vital private support of our community members to provide gap funding for a very small percentage of operational costs and allow for growth, development, special projects, activities and programs as needed throughout the year.

Getting Involved
Bumble Run
Held in the Fall, this is a very popular event that encourages philanthropy among our students. It brings together the entire Childpeace student population as they run around the school, cheer on their friends and raise funds for their school. The students enjoy seeing their efforts reflected in their school environment. This event is one of the most popular among our students!
Annual Appeal
The Annual Appeal is the largest fundraising event that benefits Childpeace. It provides all Childpeace community members, and the greater public, with an opportunity to have a positive impact on the education of Childpeace students. Opportunities to give are highlighted throughout the year. We encourage all community members to come together to reach 100% participation.
Additional Events
Childpeace has several in-person events that promote the intrinsic reward of philanthropy and focus on community building. These are positive and engaging community building opportunities.

How To Give
Check
Writing a personal check is a simple way to make a gift. Checks should be made out to Childpeace Montessori School and mailed to 1516 NW Thurman Street, Portland, Oregon 97209.
Credit Card
Many parents, alumni and friends charge their gifts to a Visa, MasterCard or American Express account. To make a credit card donation, click here.
Matching Gifts
Childpeace is eligible for matching gifts from most employers. Many companies will match donations made by their employees. In addition, some will make contributions based on time their employees volunteer. Ask your company for details about how to receive an employer match for the charitable contributions you make to Childpeace.
Stock
Donating stock and other securities to Childpeace is an easy and mutually beneficial way for families and friends to donate because of the substantial tax advantages. The school maintains a Charles Schwab account that allows for direct stock transfer. Instructions on how to complete this process are available upon request by emailing development@childpeace.org or calling the school at 503-222-1197.
Donate your vehicle
