She/Her

Marja holds a BA (Wellesley) and an Ed. M. (Harvard). She moved to Portland June 1, 2023 and she is originally from the East Coast, however, she considers Seattle "home."

She is a Montessorian at heart and she shares the same philosophy and values (child centered, giving students voice, truly believing that our hope for peace lies in the education of children). She believes the staff at Childpeace truly embody Montessori philosophy in action and not just the word!

Marja spends her free time in nature. Other than children, animals and her family bring her joy.
