Wendi was born and raised in Portland and graduated from Portland State University with a B.A. in English Literature. Since coming to Childpeace in 1992, she has worked in many different capacities.

In addition to her work with children, she has renovated many houses and owned and operated a furniture store. Her son Thomas graduated from the Children’s House at The Terrace and the Lower Elementary.
